TRS: Who's Ready To Learn?

The weekend was a blur. I remember playing Chutes and Ladders on Friday night. I remember Saturday involved sitting in line on Don Mills for what seemed like an eternity to get into the Ontario Science Centre, and chinese takeout. I think Sunday had something about Ikea, a haircut, and me making roast beef dinner. But that's about it. Thankfully, it seems I was able to take photos of the weekend.

She Blinded Me With Science by Thomas Dolby

(Oh, come on. Like you didn't see that one coming.)

the Wedgits seemed counterintuitive to her as she tried to stack the same sized squares on top of one another instead of making use of their interlocking nature

the music room was a hit for both munchkin and Mommy

seriously, how cool is the camouflage exhibit?

a little snuggle time for Mommy as they learned about electricity (I kept trying to feed her answers that were technically correct but over the kids' heads (like "How do we make electricity?" - "Using a magnet in motion to induce current!") but MTM kept kicking me)

One final note about the OSC. They have an IMAX theatre, and we thought that the munchkin would be old enough to sit through a 45 minute movie as opposed to a full-length animated feature. What we didn't figure was that the IMAX demo would scare the ever-loving crap out of her and that we would have to leave within minutes of the actual movie starting.

"Excuse me, but what does someone have to do to get some jöos around here?"

"Snip, snip goes Mommy."

Wow! I love that you're showing MTM and the Munchkin's faces. They look so similar :)
The happy faces totally cracked me up.
We used to be OSC members, and Phat Daddy insisted on bringing Doodle to those imax movies. I found them so boring. But Phat Daddy would get really into them, and then about halfway through Doodle and I would get bored, and leave and Phat Daddy would meet us in the gift shop.

Man, your weekends make me need a nap!

I love the haircut picure - my kid still doesn't have enough to warrant a cut. LOL.

Really, is there any other song you could have put up with this post?

I don't think so.

LOL at the song choice and happy faces.

Sounds like a busy yet fun weekend.

I need a vacation and a massage (and a stiff drink) after an IKEA visit.

What'd you get there?

Did she love the camo exhibit? The whole experience (barring IMAX)?

My kids love the kid science museums.

Whoa! If it wasn't for the smiley face I would have missed her. Beauty camouflage.
